My name is Mrs. Mona Lieblich and this is my second year as the Leveled Literacy Intervention teacher and my 15th year here teaching in Newbury! I have a Masters degree in Moderate to Intensive Intervention Specialist from Cleveland State University and my K-12 Reading Endorsement and K-12 Transition to Work Endorsement both from Kent State University. My experience as a teacher is across all the grade levels in a Resource setting and co-teaching setting with regular education teachers in may subject areas. I am also the assistant coach for cross country and assistant softball coach. I am a Junior Class advisor that plans Prom and the Key Club advisor. Prior to teaching at Newbury, I taught for 4 years at an alternative school for children with behavior disorders. I live with my husband and we have three grown children and two dogs.
I grew up in Newbury and I am excited to be teaching here. The students are fantastic and they, along with the rest of the staff, make it a great place to be.
