Mr. Q and Miss U Tie The Knot In Kindergarten!

On May 28th the Kindergarten classes celebrated the wedding of Mr. Q and Miss U. Together they vowed to always stay together so they can make the /qu/ sound in words. During the school year the classes learned about each letter of the alphabet using the Letter People program, and the wedding was the culmination of their studies. After the ceremony, each student, acting as one of the Letter People, gave a short speech telling about their letter, the letter sound and words that begin with that letter. A wedding reception with cake and punch followed.
