Parade of Presidents

Third grade students performed their annual President Program on March 4th. During the month of February, third graders researched their United States President using books form the library and their classroom. They also searched the Internet for interesting facts during computer class. Their final copies were written in the first person point-of-view. They then wrote a summary of their speech that they read to the audience. The students were careful not to say who they were in their reports, as the audience participated in a contest to guess who each student represented by listening to the facts in each speech.
The audience and students then celebrated with red. white and blue snacks. What a fun day for the third grade students and their guests!
