Newbury Elementary Band and Chorus December Concert

December 4th, 2009, the Newbury Elementary auditorium halls were decked with the sound of music. The 5th grade and 6th grade Bands and the 5th/6th grade Chorus as well as numerous soloists performed for family and schoolmates. The selections were seasonal, sacred and secular. The audience especially enjoyed the fifth grade band's rendition of "Donkey Round" and the sixth grade band's "Rock Point 5."
Anna Koch, Emily Wilson, Carley Couch, Keegan Lax, Lori Fade, Jeremy Stefancin, and Logan Hoover all performed solos.
Thank you to the band and chorus members, Mrs. Henry, accompanist, Ms. Proctor, director, and all who came to delight in the seasonal performance.
