K-3 Holiday Concerts Were "Sing"-sational

On December 2nd, the Kindergarten, First, Second, and Third Grade Students from Newbury Elementary regaled their parents, grandparents, and friends with songs of the season.
"A Winter Concert!" was the theme for the Kindergarten and First Graders.They included songs of winter, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, and Christmas.
"Our House is a Holiday House" was the Second and Third Grade theme. Songs emphasized the tastes, sounds, and smells of the season.
Thanks are also extended to soloists who played piano and/or violin selections. The boys scouts led the Pledge of Allegiance. Thank you to Ms. Proctor for organizing and directing this performance and the teachers for helping with the rehearsals: Ms. Munn, Mrs. Miller, Mrs. Berger, Mrs. May, Mrs. Cerny, Mrs. Jones, Mrs. Gabriel, and Mrs. Wurster. Many thanks to the students who "sang their hearts out," and to the audience for coming. Happy holidays to all.
