Third Grade Students Make Great Scientists!

The third grade visited the Porter Center for Science and Mathematics where they classified animals into various groups including carnivores, herbivores, or omnivores.  They also grouped animals as either predator or prey.  The students used scientific skills to prepare their own slides from pond water in order to observe microscopic plant and animal organisms.
