French Field Trip
April 29, 2008

On April 29, 2008, the French Four Class traveled to "Le Bistro du Beaujolais" in Olmsted Falls to have an authentic French Lunch. The owner, Georges d'Arras was an excellent host. He entertained the students with stories of his travels and philosophies, all in French. He then sat at each individual table and interviewed each student. After lunch, a choice of Chicken with peanut sauce, pork with chestnut sauce, or skate wing with mustard sauce and mousse au chocolat for all, he went around again and gave the students the opportunity to interview him. The students commented that it was easier to understand him than they thought it would be. They really enjoyed having the opportunity to speak French with a "real" French person!
