Summer Workshop Participants
Mrs. Ewings and Mrs. Michaels win scholarship

Mrs. Ewing, sixth grade math teacher, and Mrs. Michaels, fifth grade science teacher, have been accepted into the summer Martha Holden Jennings Mathematics and Science Workshops to be held at Mario's Aurora Inn, Aurora, Ohio. These two annual professional development opportunities expose teachers to new and different ways of thinking about their teaching.
The week long classes, underwritten by the Martha Holden Jennings Foundation, have an objective of involving teachers who will return to their home districts and help raise the level of physical science or mathematics teaching there.
We congratulate Mrs. Ewing and Mrs. Michaels on being included in this unique opportunity and eagerly await their return and collaboration with fellow math and science teachers in the fall.
