A Visit to Fourth Grade
On Friday, April 25, students in Mrs. Jackson’s class were treated to some visitors during their science class. Members of Mrs. Scully’s High School Biology class came and shared with the fourth graders the flower reports they had done. Students learned about flowers such as lilacs, sunflowers, Venus Fly traps, petunias, and magnolias to
name a few. The fourth grade learned about perennials and annuals and shared their knowledge about the parts of a flower. The high school students cut out their fourth grade partner’s name out of flower pictures too. It was fun to have them visit!
