This is a meeting of the
Board of Education in public for the purpose of conducting the school district’s
business and is not to be considered a public community meeting. There is a time for public participation
during the meeting as indicated in the following agenda.

PARTICIPATION - Persons who wish to appear before the Board and have not requested placement on the agenda seven
(7) days in advance may speak to the Board
concerning items for action prior to the New Business portion of the
meeting. This public participation segment of the Board meeting shall
be controlled by the presiding
officer. Any discussion at this portion
of the Board meeting cannot and shall
not receive any Board action. However,
before the Board will hear a complaint or
criticism about school personnel, the complaint must be submitted to the
Treasurer, in writing, at least
seven (7) days in advance of the meeting.
The employee will receive a copy
of the complaint, and the process prescribed in Board Policy #9130, Public Complaints and Grievances,
will be followed.
IV. NEW BUSINESS
A. Recommend the Board:
1. Approve the Amended Permanent Appropriations
for Fiscal Year 2008.

3. Approve the purchase of antivirus/antispyware
software and licenses for
all
district workstations and servers for a term of 6 years from Central
Command,
Inc., of Medina, OH, at a cost of $1,300. (Enclosure)

4. Approve a proposal from Institutional
Diversified of Chardon, OH, to
install
white board overlay in 28 district classrooms at a cost for
materials
and installation of $6,900 to be paid from Permanent
Improvement
