• Alert: Water Update Late on January 30th, a power outage caused numerous electrical components to burn up, including electrical components of our well.  It took several days to get the parts here to replace the burned out parts. After the repairs were completed, we sent a water sample to be tested by B & J Environmental to make sure our water met EPA standards.  As you know, as we waited for the results, we provided bottled water to the staff and students. The results came back showing our water was safe to drink. Early on February 21st, our maintenance supervisor arrived at school to discover minimal water in our well’s holding tank due to our pump not running.  Our pump is near our football field and high tension power poles. OSHA standards dictate safety regulations related to high tension wires. In order to be in compliance with those safety standards, we had to ask the Illuminating Company to disconnect high tension power which caused a delay in getting the pump replaced.  The pump was replaced today, February 22nd. B & J Environmental will be taking a sample tomorrow and we anticipate getting the results back by Sunday, the 24th. We are grateful to B & J Environmental for working over the weekend to get these tests completed. We are hopeful school will resume on Monday, February 25th.  The worst case scenario would be a delay in the water sample results which would mean providing bottled water for our staff and students.   We will update this website as we receive additional information.
