This letter is to inform you of our procedures for dismissal. If there is a change for dismissal for your child, you need to contact the office. This can be done by emailing our school secretary, Lisa Levine, at email@example.com, faxing the form to 440.564.9690, or by writing a note and sending it with your child in the morning. WE WILL NO LONGER BE ACCEPTING PHONE CALLS. There is a new form that is attached to this letter that you will fill out. This form is on the website and can be downloaded under the Elementary Page - Forms- Elementary Transportation Change of Dismissal Forms.
The end of the day is very busy throughout our school. Teachers are wrapping up the day’s lessons, the office staff is completing the final preparations for the dismissal of students, and buses are arriving with traffic restrictions in the front of the school building. Safety is our first priority with your child. If we do not receive notification about a change for dismissal, your child will be sent home as usual.
If you are picking up your child from school, please park in the side parking lot and enter the school through the main entrance. You will be required to sign out your child prior to his/her release and show identification.
In order to assure a safe, smooth dismissal procedure for all, we can’t make any changes or updates to your child’s dismissal plan after 1:30 p.m. Sending in a note to the teacher with your child in the morning is the best way to ensure that we have adequate time to make the proper arrangements.
